Day 01 / Arrive Delhi (7th November)

Day 02/ Delhi
After breakfast, head on a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. You visit the Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and other important landmarks in Old Delhi. Later, on a tour of New Delhi visit the Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb. We take you on a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 03 / Delhi - Agra
Agra In the early morning you are transferred to the railway station to board the Superfast air-conditioned train to Agra (Dep. 0600 hrs Arrival 0800 hrs.). Breakfast will be provided in the train. After arrival check in at the hotel. Later, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal- one of the seven wonders of the world. The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory his wife. Agra fort is another fascinating site that you visit. The construction of the fort was started by the Mughal emperor Akbar in 1566. The important places of tourist interest inside the fort include Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-I-Khas and other beautiful palaces. Night stay at the hotel in Agra.

Day 04 / Agra - Jaipur
In the morning drive to Jaipur, which is a five-hour journey. En route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri - the capital city of the Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Thereafter continue drive to Jaipur. After arrival in Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Night stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05 / Jaipur
In the morning, proceed to Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you mount a caparisoned elephant that will take you to the majestic fort. It took one hundred years to complete the fort and was completed in the 18th century. Though the fort is deserted, it offers a useful insight into the lifestyle of the royal family there. In the afternoon tour the city. You visit the City Palace, which is still home to the Maharaja, however several of the rooms are now open to the public. You will find many antiques and artifacts belonging to the royal family. The other places that you visit include the Hawa Mahal 'Palace of the Winds', and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments. You also visit the colorful bazaar before returning to your hotel. Night stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 06 / Jaipur - Pushkar
After breakfast drive to Pushkar, which is a 3-hour drive. After arrival in Pushkar check in into the luxury tented accommodation. Afternoon is a leisure or you can observe the colorful fair. Overnight stay in the tents.

Day 07 / Pushkar
The day is marked to enjoy the festivities. You can enjoy the cultural extravaganza at the fair. Folk dances, camel trading, races and other exciting activities are to enjoy. Overnight stay in the tents.

Day 08 / Pushkar - Ajmer - Delhi
(By Train Dep. 1550 Hrs Arrival 2230 Hrs)
In the morning visit the famous Brahma Temple, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. Later head to Ajmer, which is 15 km away. In Ajmer you visit the Digragh Sharif. The shrine was completed by the Mughal emperor Humayun and the gates were added by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Later Shah Jahan constructed a mosque of white marble, it has 11 arches and a Persian inscription running the full length of the building. You also visit Adhai din ka Jhonpra - an ancient Sanskrit college, which was converted into mosque in 1198 and remains one of the finest monuments of medieval India. In the Afternoon, transfer to railway station to board the a-c train to Delhi (Dep. 1550 Hrs Arrival 2230 Hrs). Arrive Delhi, meet at the railway station and transfer to hotel. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 09 / Departure
Transfer to airport to board the onward flight.
